Homeopathy can be a wonderful option for animals. If you have a dog that gets hot spots, here are some remedies that can be helpful.

Apis: usually swollen, red or white color, very sensitive to touch.

Belladona: hotspots appear quickly and very intense-hot, red and painful. The dog may be more irritable and anxious, and usually hot and thirsty.

Graphites: chilly, obese, the dog may have sores in the bends of limbs or skin folds. Sticky feel and my have a discharge that looks like honey-colored.

Hepar sulph: discharge is foul smelling, very painful, and the dog may get aggressive if sore is touched.

Mercurius Solubilis: Ulcerative sores with a greenish, yellowish crust. Enlarged glands.

Rhus toxicodendron: sores are itchy, may look similar to poison ivy. The dog may be restless and may be stiff feels better with motion.
